Lamesa ISD will return to regular schedule today, Thursday, February 2nd.


Lamesa ISD will cancel school for today, Wednesday, February 1st, based on the Ice Storm Warning coming from the National Weather Service. The area expects freezing rain throughout the day and conditions may become more dangerous if the rain turns into ice. Stay warm and safe.


The National Weather Service has issued an Ice Storm Warning for Lamesa and the surrounding area. At this time, the district is calling a delayed start for Wednesday, February 1st at 10:00AM. Buses will run on pavement only. The district will re-evaluate the road conditions before 7:00 AM to determine any changes on the school day.


Due to hazardous road conditions and inclement weather, Lamesa ISD will cancel school for today, Tuesday, January 31st. Please be safe and stay warm!


Lamesa ISD will run on a 2-Hour Delay today, Tuesday, January 31st. School will begin at 10:00 AM. Busses will run on pavement only. We will continue to monitor road conditions and make additional changes if necessary.

The Varsity Basketball Games vs Brownfield have had a time change! Varsity Girls will play at 4:00 PM. Varsity Boys will play at 5:30 PM. All other sub-varsity and middle school games have been canceled.
