LHS & North Elementary students started a mentoring program today where the high schoolers come over to eat, play & tutor with select elementary students. Special thanks to Kenyon Andrews & Communities in Schools for helping make this great idea a reality.

Congratulations to Tornado Powerlifting! Derique Brooks - placed 4th in the 165lb weight division
Charles Aynes - placed 1st Overall in the 308lb weight division
Charles Aynes now has the Region 1 Squat, Bench, & Total records in the 308lb Weight Division!
Squat: 600lbs
Bench: 370lbs
Total: 1,480lbs
Charles also qualified for State! Which will be head in Abilene, TX @ the EXPO CENTER on March 27th.
