The South Elementary Gentlemen's Society collected and donated over 100 toothbrushes and tooth paste to the Lamesa ISD Food Pantry to help promote good oral hygiene!

Mr. Pedroza’s Advanced Culinary Arts students hosted their first catering event today in the brand new Tornado Alley. It was a “pop up” restaurant event that was entirely student run. Kudos to the students for a delicious debut!!
Great things are happening at South Elementary! The 2nd grade GIRL Squad collected, sorted, and handed out over 260 books to teachers for their classroom libraries. Classes also had guest readers and lots of other special reading activities. 📚
It’s a great day at Lamesa ISD! Ms. Gonzales’ & Mrs. Sauseda’s PK class has been working hard & earned a pickle/popcorn party. 🍿
Pre-K/Kindergarten Registration Kick-Off will be on April 22nd! We will be registering new PK/KG students from 8:00am - 6:00pm. If you can not make it on this day, you may come during our normal hours. Please bring copies of your child's birth certificate, social security card, and shot record.

Golden Tornado Wind Ensemble received Straight 1’s from all judges today in UIL Concert & Sight Reading Contest! This year our GTB has earned a Division 1 in UIL Marching, Concert, and Sight Reading. Division 1 in all UIL contests makes our GTB a Sweepstakes Band. Congrats GTB! 🎶
It was a great day at LHS! Texas Tech University gifted some our future and prospective students a ticket to the Tech baseball game today. Wreck ‘Em and Go Tors!
