LEGAL NOTICE OF REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL
The Lamesa Independent School District will accept requests for proposals until 4:00 P.M.,
Tuesday, March 12, 2024 PROCUREMENT OF FOOD SERVICE SCHOOL NUTRITION PROGRAMS
(Solicitation no. 2024-01) Lamesa Independent School District (LISD) is accepting requests for
proposals from Food Service Management companies, (REP), political subdivision corporations
formed under Section 304.001 of the Texas Local Government, Regional Service Centers, and
any other entity legally permitted to supply and/or provide school nutrition programs, food
services for the school year 2024-2025 to LISD as further specified and detailed in the Request
for Proposal Packet. Proposals are due at 4:00 P.M. Central Time, Tuesday, March 12, 2024
and will be opened in the Lamesa ISD Central office located at 212 N Houston Ave., Lamesa, TX
79331. Proposals must conform to the requirements set forth in the Request for Proposal
packets, except as otherwise noted in such packets. Request for Proposal packets may be
obtained from Mr. Ron McBee, with Lamesa ISD, telephone (806) 872-5461, fax (806) 872-6220,
or via an email request to RFPchildnutritionfoodservice@lamesa.esc17.net. LISD reserves the
right to accept, reject, or postpone any or all requests for proposals, and to waive irregularities in
proposals to the fullest extent permitted by law.
